We are a small family business based in Forestdale (Selsdon), producing and selling a range of homemade Jams, Marmalades, Chutneys and Curds. We use traditional domestic methods, cooking in small batches, stirring by hand and using only the freshest quality fruit and vegetables for amazing full-on flavours.
Jam or Extra Jam has to be prepared with over 35g or 45g fruit respectively per 100g finished product. Marmalade has to be produced with over 20g citrus fruit per 100g finished product. All of our Jams, Extra Jams and Marmalades are prepared with much more than this to give them their fantastic flavour. However, as we produce in small batches by hand, these values will vary between each batch. If you would like to know the specific fruit and sugar content, which will be stated on the jar label, please contact us prior to ordering.
All of our Jams, Marmalades and Chutneys are best before 6 months from date of production so that they taste as fresh as when we made them. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep in the fridge and consume within 2 weeks. However, Jams, Marmalades and Chutneys generally keep for one year from date of production when stored in a cool, dry place and for 4 weeks once opened when stored in the fridge.
All our Curds are use within 3 months from date of production. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep in the fridge and consume within 2 weeks.
