Here are our Terms & Conditions for our products at Selsdon Jam Pan.
Selsdon Jam Pan owns the site www.selsdonjampan.co.uk. Where ‘our, ‘us’ or ‘we’ is used, this refers to Selsdon Jam Pan and where ‘you’ and ‘your’ is used this refers to the person placing the order using our website, via email, Facebook Messenger or over the telephone.
Ordering with us
By placing an order with Selsdon Jam Pan, you agree to accept the terms and conditions set out herein. If you would like to discuss any of our terms and conditions, please contact us by emailing [email protected] or calling 07476 729032 and we’ll be happy to help.
In order to process your order, you will be asked for your name, phone number, email address, billing and delivery address, and debit or credit card details (or you will be redirected to login to PayPal if you opt to use PayPal to complete your purchase). All of these details are supplied as a ‘guest’ meaning you are not required to set up an account with us. Please note, the delivery details e.g. name and address, including your telephone number and email address will be passed onto our couriers in case they need to contact you regarding the delivery of your parcel, also allowing them to send you tracking information too.
Payment for your order will be taken at the time you place the order and an email will be sent to you shortly after you place your order. This email will confirm the details of your order but confirmation that your order has been accepted by us will not be fulfilled until you receive your parcel from us.
Very occasionally we may be unable to fulfil your order. This may be due to an item being out of stock, your payment not being authorised, incorrect pricing or product details being identified, the terms and conditions not being met and circumstances beyond our control that affect the delivery of your order. Where this is the case, we will make contact with you at our earliest opportunity and endeavour to find a satisfactory solution for all which may include rearranging a delivery date, offering you an alternative or providing a refund.
If you place an order with us, we will add your details to our mailing list. We hope that you will be happy to receive our mailings; however should this not be the case at any point in the future, please let us know and we will remove your details from our list immediately. If you have received an email from us, you will always have the option to unsubscribe from future emails.
We want you to be delighted with your order but if for any reason after checking the items you are not happy, or the items are damaged or faulty, please see below or refer to our FAQs where there will be more information to help you.
Product Descriptions & Pricing
The purchase of any product on our site is subject to both the product description and the details contained therein and our generic sales terms and conditions.
We set out to describe our products and list our prices as accurately as possible so that you know what to expect from your purchase. Occasionally however, despite our best intentions, there may be times when the details online or on printed material are not exactly as they should be at the time you place your order. Furthermore our product descriptions and images are there to help you make your purchase only. They do not constitute part of the agreement between us and we are unable to accept responsibility for any consequences as a result of any omissions or inaccuracies whether online or printed. In particular, due to the differences in colour on various devices and individual user settings we are unable to accept any responsibility for any colour variations between our website/printed material and the product itself although we are confident the colour match will be very close.
Should there be an error with the price of an item you have ordered and prior to it being delivered, we will contact you to see whether you would like to continue with the purchase at the correct price or require a refund in full.
Orders Not Received
If you place an order that is outside of our free local delivery area, you will need to pay a charge for a courier delivery. Our delivery partner will deliver within 2-4 business days after dispatch from us, and we will provide them with your email address and phone number so that they can send you tracking updates about your parcel.
In the unlikely event you do not receive your parcel from us, please call or email us within 5 days of the expected delivery date. We will check the whereabouts of the parcel however should we be advised that the parcel has been delivered we will require you to complete a form to confirm the parcel was not received which must be returned to us within 5 days for us to arrange another parcel to be sent out.
Returning an item that is faulty or damaged
If you receive a parcel that is faulty or damaged please let us know straight away so we can arrange a replacement, exchange or refund for you but if that’s not possible please ensure you do so within 7 days of receiving the item.
Returning an order under the terms of the Consumer Contracts Regulations
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have the right to cancel your order* and return it to us, providing you let us know within 14 days of receiving your parcel. If you wish to cancel your order, please email: [email protected] or call 07476 729032 between the hours of 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. If you have already received your parcel you will need to return it in the original packaging, within 14 days of receiving it and at your own expense. Once received by us, we will process your return within 14 days. *Please note, personalised items or food/drink items are not covered by these regulations.
Promotions & Offers
The conditions of all promotions will be clearly set out with the promotional offer. Unless otherwise stated only one promotional code can be used on each order and these are not valid on sales items or already discounted items. Where promotional codes for our site are listed on other sites, we rely on that site to remove the offer when no longer valid and cannot take any responsibility should this not be done.

Limitations of Liability
The limitations of liability set out herewith apply to Selsdon Jam Pan and any other related company with any references to Selsdon Jam Pan also applying to any such associated company.
Selsdon Jam Pan excludes all representations, warranties and conditions, whether express or implied, in relation to our Products to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law.
We will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising under these terms and conditions or in connection with our website, however, nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Selsdon Jam Pan will do all that is reasonably possible to ensure the information on its site is up to date and accurate; however we cannot give any warranty as to its completeness or accuracy and Selsdon Jam Pan cannot be held responsible for any omission or errors or resulting consequences from the use of the information.
We aim to provide you with a website that offers a high-quality shopping experience, however, we cannot guarantee that your use of it will be uninterrupted, timely or error free at all times. We cannot be held responsible for any content or data that is either lost or corrupted when uploaded or downloaded from our site to another device such as a computer or tablet and Selsdon Jam Pan does not accept any responsibility for any consequences arising therefrom.
Furthermore, Selsdon Jam Pan will not be liable nor responsible for your use of any other websites which you may access as a result of links within our website. Other links may be provided as an additional service to our customers but this does not mean Selsdon Jam Pan has any connection with or responsibility for these sites or endorses them in any way.
If Selsdon Jam Pan is unable to fulfil any of its obligations in relation to your order for reasons beyond its control, it cannot be held liable to you or be considered to be in violation of these terms and conditions or any other agreement.
Selsdon Jam Pan’s liability with regards to any contract for any item to which these terms apply shall be limited to the price of the item, unless specifically expressed otherwise herein.
Selsdon Jam Pan own the copyright to all of the content on its webpages whether that be copy, design, logos, pictures, photographs and other materials. You are permitted to make a copy and/or print parts of the site if only in relation to an order you are placing with us; however any duplicating, modifying, copying or reproducing of any or all of our site for any other reason is not permitted.
The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you agree to be bound to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court.
These terms and conditions were last updated in December 2020 and we reserve the right to change them as necessary.
